Heat Pump Selection Survey

Fill out the survey, and our team will select a heat pump according to your needs
Heat pumps are inverter machines and can experience issues with voltage fluctuations – either too high or too low. An inverter machine works by increasing or decreasing the compressor speed and never fully stops, unlike an on/off machine, which reaches the set temperature and then turns off. Niko Therm heat pumps are equipped with protection against high and low voltage, but network problems can still cause operational issues or malfunctions.
The best option is an insulated home with continuous operation of the heat pump. It is not advisable to heat the property in sudden bursts, as the heat pump cannot operate in its normal mode. For rapid heating, an auxiliary energy source is required – electric heater, gas, or pellets. Heat pumps are most effective when used in homes with good insulation and quality windows. Using them in poorly insulated homes may result in an inability to maintain a comfortable temperature.
When using heat pumps, radiator sizes are increased, unlike radiators for pellet boilers, stoves, or gas boilers, which are standard for the given area. Larger radiators for heat pumps provide greater energy savings. The best option is a heat pump with underfloor heating. Underfloor heating can save up to an additional 50% on energy costs and provides a higher level of comfort. Where cooling is also required, convectors are used. Convectors allow you to reach the desired air temperature much faster in rooms that are not continuously heated or cooled.
For continuous operation in well-insulated homes, the recommended heat pumps are as follows: 6 kW – up to 80 m² 10 kW – up to 130 m² 12 kW – up to 150 m² 16 kW – up to 200 m² 20 kW – up to 250 m² 22 kW – up to 270 m² The heat pump operates more economically at lower water temperatures. For rapid heating, the next higher-capacity heat pump should be used for the given area, plus an alternative heat source (gas boiler, pellet boiler, wood stove, or electric heater).
